I must say, one thing I absolutely adored about my stay at the lovely cottage in Kirkby Stephen was the cozy and charming decor. The tasteful combination of warm colors, comfortable furniture, and delightful knick-knacks created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the living room and dining area, were thoughtfully arranged and provided a pleasant space to relax and unwind. Additionally, I appreciated how the hotel catered to the needs of senior people like myself. The accessibility of the facilities, including the well-maintained garden, was excellent, allowing me to enjoy the beauty of nature without any hassle.
If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be that the children working there be more readily available and responsive to the needs of the guests. A little more attention and promptness in addressing any concerns or issues would have enhanced the overall stay.

Mind-blowing wi-fi speeds, super convenient off-site car park, jaw-dropping electric kettle for that perfect cuppa, and an absolutely fantastic game room for endless fun. Plus, the cots for little ones, pet-friendly policy, and no smoking on site made our stay truly unforgettable. And let's not forget the amazing cycling routes nearby!

The hotel had a lovely, quaint decor with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and had comfortable seating for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with conveniently placed handrails and no steep stairs to navigate.
I would have preferred a more attentive and helpful staff, especially when it came to addressing any concerns or issues that arose during our stay. It would have been nice to have experienced a more personalized and accommodating service from the staff, who seemed quite young and inexperienced.

A garden with a barbecue? Guess I'll have to eat grilled sausages in my dreams. Thanks for the free wifi though, made it easier to book a local hotel.
No access, no help, and no refund. Who needs a smooth holiday when you can have a complete shambles instead?
